Who hasn’t had the impression of losing distance vision acuity during years of intense study or work?
For my part, I felt the same way in engineering school, when I would widen my eyes and squint my eyelids to follow the lessons on the blackboard. Yet my vision, both near and far, was very good when I was younger. Later still, I would take photos of the blackboard with my smartphone, then read the photo of the blackboard and copy it down to make sure I hadn’t made any mistakes in my note-taking.
It was at this point, during my studies, that I began to wonder about the influence of my work environment on my eyes. Is it inevitable to buy glasses to correct your eyesight when your eyesight deteriorates during your studies? Or should we simply readapt our environment to take care of our eyes and maintain our distance vision?
That’s precisely the question I set out to answer: I started by paying attention to the distance between the material I was reading (book, PC) and my eyes (1 metre minimum). I also paid attention to the quality of the screens I was looking at and reduced the proportion of blue light they emitted. I even bought anti-blue light gaming glasses.
By doing these little things, I began to see real improvements in my distance vision. On the strength of this experience, I continued my research in this direction and ended up taking an interest in pinhole glasses, also known as grid glasses, hole glasses or anti-myopia glasses.
I then bought several models of these glasses, most of which are mass-produced in China, and again I noticed an improvement in my distance vision thanks to these glasses. But with time and experience of their use, I was convinced that these very simple and awkward models could be greatly improved.
So I embarked on the fantastic adventure of creating my own anti-myopia/stenopia glasses. After many trials and failures lasting almost a year, I was finally able to develop my own design and manufacture my first pair of pinhole glasses. I then tried them on, and found that they were much more effective and comfortable than the ones I’d bought before. I now try to wear these glasses almost every day, for about ten minutes a day, and in this way I maintain my distance vision, which has since improved.
From then on, I began to manufacture these glasses on a larger scale and sell them online. The clear advantage of these glasses is that they are made to measure according to the respective visual acuity of your two eyes, a unique option today that enables each eye to be worked on in a targeted and adapted way.
I therefore recommend that you try out these Elim® glasses if you’ve seen your childhood vision, which was clear, decline as a result of studies or a job that put a lot of strain on your near vision. You’ll see for yourself how effective these glasses are.
